"A simple reply would’ve been fair"
I reached out and never got a response, which was disappointing. I don’t expect everything to be solved instantly, but I do think it’s fair to at least acknowledge a customer’s message. Even a quick update would’ve made the experience feel a lot better...

"I ordered from totaltools.com.au and the delivery ended…"
I ordered from Total Tools and the delivery ended up taking longer than I thought it would. It wasn’t a complete disaster or anything, but it definitely wasn’t quick. The tracking barely updated too, which was annoying. Whoever runs this side of things really needs to sort it out.

"Why is there no PayPal?"
I was ready to check out, had everything in my cart, and then I get to payment and there’s no PayPal option. Like, really? I don’t know, maybe I’m too used to having it everywhere, but I didn’t feel like digging around for another card or entering all my info, so I just closed the page and left. Kind of frustrating because I actually wanted to buy the stuff.

"Decent Prices, But Worth Comparing First"
I’ve bought a few things from Total Tools and overall they’ve been decent, especially when they’ve got a sale on. For basic gear or brands I already know, it’s usually easy enough to compare prices and they’re often close enough to make it convenient. But this is where it got annoying, after buying or almost buying a couple of items, I checked around and found them cheaper somewhere else. Not a bad place to shop by any means, but I’d definitely recommend doing a quick price check before committing.

"Decent deals, but not always worth the wait"
I usually buy from Total Tools when the promo prices actually look decent. Some of the discounts are good, but others feel like they’re basically the same as the usual price. It’s still worth checking now and then, but after waiting around for a sale, I don’t always feel like I’ve saved much.

"Got What I Needed, But It Took a Bit Longer Than Expected"
I stopped in to pick up a new drill and a few bits, and the staff member who helped me was friendly enough. He knew the basics, which made me feel like I was at least headed in the right direction. But once I started asking more specific questions, he seemed a little unsure and had to check with someone else. I get it, nobody knows everything, but I guess I felt a little disappointed because I expected more confidence and product knowledge. I did end up getting what I needed, so it wasn’t a bad visit, just not as smooth as I hoped. Overall, it was an okay experience.

"I signed up for the Total…"
I signed up for the Total Tools account and membership because I’m always grabbing random bits and pieces there, or at least it feels like I am. It’s handy being able to see my orders and occasionally get member pricing, so I guess it’s worth having. That said, not every deal seems all that amazing, unless maybe I’m just missing the better ones. The emails can get a bit much too. Overall, I’d say it’s useful if you already shop there regularly, but I wouldn’t exactly rave about it.

"Surprisingly Decent Support"
My order tracking was showing the wrong info, which was obviously super helpful when I was trying to figure out where my stuff was. I figured I was in for the usual back-and-forth, but I contacted Total Tools and they actually got back to me quickly. The guy looked into it, sorted out the mix-up, and kept me updated instead of just leaving me to guess. Order arrived fine in the end, so credit where it’s due, their service was good once something went wrong...

"Checkout was okay, but a bit slow"
From what I remember, ordering from Total Tools was mostly fine, but the checkout dragged a little. I had to go back and double-check my delivery details a couple of times, and after I paid, the page seemed to sit there loading for longer than I expected. Nothing actually went wrong, and the confirmation email came through, but it just didn’t feel as smooth as I thought it would. Overall, I’d say it was a average experience.

Total Tools got my order right, and all the items and sizes matched what I asked for. Pickup was easy with no dramas. that’s all I expect, but if they started messing up simple stuff like sizes, I’d probably take my business somewhere else.

"Took Way Too Long to Get Help"
I ended up waiting a really long time before anyone helped me. I kept checking the time every few minutes, and it felt even longer because nothing was really happening around me. Even small things started to bother me, like watching other people get attention first while I was still just sitting there. By the time someone finally came over, I was already frustrated.

I was actually excited when my first order showed up because I’d been needing these tools for a while. The tools themselves were okay and did the job, but the box looked like it had been through a whole journey before getting to my door. The tape was half peeled off, one corner was open, and the whole thing was smashed up. For the price, I expected the packaging to be a lot better. Not the best first impression, to be honest...

The site was super easy to get around, and I found the drill bits I needed in what felt like no time at all. The filters made it way easier, and checkout was painless too. The only downside was that a few pages took forever to load on my phone, but overall it was a good experience...

I tried returning a tool and, I don’t know why, but it turned into way more of a hassle than it should’ve been. I kept getting bounced around to different people and I’m still waiting for it to be sorted out. Annoying overall.

"Quick and easy repair overall"
The repair was done really fast, which I definitely appreciated. I do wish there had been a little more communication along the way, but in the end they fixed the issue quickly and made the whole process easy.

I ordered because the website clearly showed the item was in stock. Then I got a message saying it actually wasn’t available and I’d have to wait. Like, how does that even happen?? Frustrating, and I definitely wouldn’t fully trust the stock numbers next time

"Click and collect was a bit of a faff"
I ordered online for click and collect thinking it’d be quick and easy, but... yeah, not really. It took ages for the ready-to-collect email to come through, and then when I got to the store, the staff didn’t seem totally sure where my order was. So I ended up waiting around again. The item itself was fine in the end, no issues there, but the whole process just wasn’t very smooth. I’d probably just go in and shop in store next time, to be honest.

I was a little annoyed at first because I had to make one extra call to get my warranty claim sorted. But once I got through, they handled it quickly, which was a relief. So yeah, a tiny bit frustrating, but in the end I was happy with how fast it got resolved.
